Support
The number one way to support Lakes Region SAR is to be prepared when you’re in the outdoors. Taking the Hike Safe code is a great way to freshen up on what it means to be a prepared hiker. This framework for making sure you’re prepared was created by a joint effort of the White Mountain National Forest and New Hampshire Fish & Game
The Second best way to support Lakes Region SAR is through donations to the team. We operate solely on donations and grants for the cost of team equipment and training.
Donations can be made on our PayPal Site or by clicking the Donate Now button to the right. Lakes Region SAR is a 501c3 Non-Profit. To get tax ID info, or to plan larger donations, please contact us at training@lrsar.org
Supporting Organizations
-
NH Fish & Game
You can also support Lakes Region SAR by supporting those who support us. The Safe Hiker Card is a voluntary purchase through Fish and Game. Individuals who purchase the card are not liable to repay rescue costs. Beyond that benefit, money raised from the purchase go directly to Fish and Game’s Search and Rescue Fund
-
NH Outdoor Council
Donations can also be made to the New Hampshire Outdoor Council. The NHOC’s sole purpose is to provide funding support for organizations involved in Search and Rescue and Backcountry Safety in NH.
